Differences Between PC and Handheld

Keep in mind the handheld device must be synchronized to your PC/laptop prior to sending or retrieving jobs.

For the most part the PC version and the Handheld are very similar in data entry. There are some exceptions as follows:

The titles, subtitles, headings and their text can be edited on the PC only. The changes will be transferred to the handheld when a job is prepared.

You may add or edit observations and conditions on the PDA for the current job and those changes will be transferred to the PC during synchronization of the two devices.

A condition text box will appear on the handheld to allow for text edit by selecting 'Description' at the location screen.

The display screen on a Pocket PC is much smaller then a PC/laptop therefore additional scrolling may be necessary.
